About
Hello! My name is Alyssa Wagner, and I’m from Cincinnati, Ohio. I hold a degree in Interior Design from Sinclair College, where I discovered the profound impact that thoughtful design can have on people's lives. Interior design is important to me because it goes beyond aesthetics—it's about creating spaces that inspire, comfort, and support the people who use them. I love combining creativity with functionality to design environments that reflect individual personalities and enhance everyday experiences.
I’m particularly passionate about incorporating sustainability into my designs. I believe that creating eco-friendly, efficient spaces is not just a trend but a responsibility. Using sustainable materials and energy-conscious practices, I aim to design environments that are beautiful, functional, and respectful of our planet's resources.
During my Co-op at Designs on Madison in Cincinnati, Ohio, I gained valuable hands-on experience in every stage of the design process. I worked closely with a talented team on sourcing materials, preparing design presentations, and assisting with space planning and layouts. I also had the opportunity to shadow client consultations, which gave me insight into effective communication and understanding of client needs.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my Co-op was seeing projects come to life—from initial concepts to final installations. This experience taught me the importance of collaboration, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. It also reinforced my passion for creating designs that balance creativity, functionality, and sustainability.
As I continue to grow in the field of Interior Design, I’m excited to take on new challenges and explore innovative ways to create meaningful spaces. With a foundation in sustainability, functionality, and creativity, I look forward to using my skills and experience to contribute to designs that not only meet the needs of clients but also positively impact the world around us. I am eager to collaborate with others, learn from every project, and continue my journey in shaping environments that inspire and support the people who inhabit them.
